For 17 years, I raised a rare breed of hair sheep called Barbados Blackbelly on a very small postage-stamp-sized farm in southern Colorado. A few years ago, I had to sell my sheep for health reasons, and it has been a challenge redefining my farm. But with age comes wisdom (hopefully), and I finally realized that because this farm holds my soul and my passion, it needs no further definition.
I also own a successful technical communications company that I run from my office on the farm. This affords me a rare combination of happiness + earning a living. I live simply and self-sufficiently, making as small a footprint upon this earth as possible.
I am autonomous. I am contrary. I value my integrity above all else.
